The first pilot version of the universal billing system went live at an elderly care facility. With over 200 residents billed monthly for care, it previously relied on two full-time staff for manual calculation and dunning.
After launch, monthly bills generate automatically and push to family members' Mini Programs; online payment goes straight to the facility's merchant account, with arrears lists and dunning records at a glance.
Two months in, billing staffing dropped from 2 people to a 0.5 FTE part-timer, and the arrears rate fell to under a third of pre-pilot levels.
