A repair chain had run a standalone desktop system for years: no data sharing between stores, no mobile access, and owners repeatedly walking to the front desk to ask about progress.
Redeveloped in place while preserving the existing data structure: intake orders went electronic with a repair progress board, parts inventory was connected to work orders, and owners got WeChat progress notifications plus e-invoices.
The upgrade completed without replacing the original system or disrupting daily operations. The waiting experience improved noticeably, and parts inventory error rates dropped.
